Adopting from Bambi’s Hope Rescue couldn’t be any easier! We use a standard two step adoption application and interview process. Once your application has been approved there are many ways we can help find the perfect pet for you. Feel free to ask about overnight visits before signing the adoption agreement. This enables you to be able to meet and spend some time getting acquainted before signing the adoption contract to make sure everyone’s happy.
All our adoptable pets are current with shots, spayed or neutered and have been thoroughly examined by a vet before being adopted.
The adoption donation is between $100-200 each and is non-refundable. This is used to help recover the costs involved in rescuing him/her. These costs include but are not limited to: Shelter fees, spay/neuter, food, housing, vaccinations, de-worming, micro chip, and any vet exams or medical care that the dog(s) may have required. The amount of the donation is negotiable as their placement into a loving home is priority over recouping money spent rescuing him or her but we would not have been able to save the life of the dog you are adopting without the adoption donation from the one that came before him/her.
If you are interested in adopting or fostering a dog or cat please email us for an application at email@example.com
We may be a small, not for profit rescue but we’re proud to have policies in place that set us apart from other rescues. This is a labor or love and the safety and welfare of the animals come first before anything. Once Bambi’s Hope Rescue backs a dog or cat, we back them for life. Once you sign the adoption agreement, we’re still here and still backing the pet we rescued – meaning no matter how much time goes by, if you have any questions or concerns related to her or caring for her, you can contact me and if I don’t know the answer I will refer you to someone who does.
While we strongly encourage the decision to adopt a pet be taken serious, that it’s not a decision to be taken lightly or made on a whim or done for the wrong reasons – adoption is for life. But we also realize that in today’s day in age, in this unsure economy it’s hard to say where any of us might be a few years from now, so it is of the utmost importance to us, so much so that we made it part of the adoption contract, that you agree if at any time in the future you should find that you are unable to house and properly care of the pet, for whatever reason, you promise to contact us so we can arrange to take him or her back – no judgements. This is to help ensure that the dog we back will never ever again end up back in a shelter for as long as he or she lives.
